R&E
Veolia merged with R&E in 2019 to recycle waste artificial marbles at three sites, leveraging R&E's patented pyroysis technology to produce methyl methacrylate (MMA) and aluminium oxide.
The recovered MMA is then used as a raw material in the manufacture of acrylics and LED lights, and heat-resistant aluminium oxide is used in the manufacture of ceramics.
